Why does my work computer lock and require me to re-enter my password?

The auto lock feature is a Washington State requirement. The system is set to lock itself after 30 minutes of inactivity. You will not be logged off the system when this happens, and any open applications and files will remain open while your computer is locked. You need to re-enter your Eastern domain password to unlock the computer and access those open applications and files.
