Drop a Self-Enrolled Course (Chem/Physics Labs)

If students joined a "self-enroll" course, they can remove themselves from that course, as long as it is still open and in progress.

The most common examples of this are the General Chemistry Lab and General Physics Lab courses set up to allow access to course files while students are taking Chem and Physics courses. When students no longer need that access, they can drop the course so it doesn't show as a current enrollment.

1. Go to the Home page of the Lab course to be dropped. On the right side of the screen, click the Drop this Course button.

2. This confirmation message will appear - click the blue "Drop this Course" button to complete the process.

The course will immediately be dropped and it will no longer show as a current enrollment.
