How do I request a Mobile Deivce
Justification for Mobile Device Request University-owned cell phones may be provided to employees with a legitimate need for such equipment. When it is more efficient or when official business cannot be accommodated by other means, acquisition and use of a university-owned cell phone may be authorized. In such circumstances, supervisors will request a cell phone using the Purchase Cell Phone service request. All requests for cell phones must be justified in writing and be approved by the appropriate Budget Authority, and must provide the IT Help desk with a Budget Index of his/her delegate. The use of a cell phone by an employee for University business is for the benefit of the University in the furtherance of its mission; it is not for the convenience of the employee. A ‘legitimate need’ is defined as follows: The need to be readily accessible for contact with the public or with university faculty, staff, or students, for required or essential business communication due to: frequent travel, working at a remote location, etc; the need to receive or initiate communication in emergency situations; the need to be accessible and available during working hours (when away from assigned land-line telephone) and/or during non-business hours; and/or, the need to frequently access email and calendar when access is not readily available through other means. Options There are two options available in regards to needing mobile support from EWU. Below are the options in accordance with EWU 203-03 Cellular Telephone and Services Policy. Assign a University-owned device. Click HERE and choose which device you would like. Click HERE to submit the Service Request. Fill out all fields and click submit. Authorize reimbursement for employees who have occasional minimal use of a cell phone for business purposes. To request reimbursement under this section, the employee shall complete an Invoice Voucher available at the accounts payable web site. The employee’s supervisor and the appropriate budget authority must approve and sign the request before forwarding it to the Office of the Controller, Attn: Accounts Payable

EWU offers three tiers of devices serviced by AT&T Below you will find a chart with the available options and estimated pricing. Once you have chosen a device and are ready to submit a purchase request, please complete the Purchase/Upgrade/Change Cell Phone Request service request. Please be sure to specify if you wish to open a new line with a new device or upgrade an existing device. If you are interested in upgrading an existing line, please use the link above. Specify which device you are interested in and we will respond with a quote for an upgrade. These costs vary significantly based on how far you are into your contract term. Erasing iPhone To Factory Settings
When you delete data, it’s no longer accessible through the iPhone interface, but it isn’t erased from iPhone storage. To remove all of your content and settings from storage, erase iPhone. For example, erase iPhone before you return your old device to the help desk. If you want to save your content and settings, back up iPhone before erasing it. You can erase iPhone from Settings . If you’re unable to open Settings, you can use a computer to erase iPhone. Wipe all content and settings from iPhone Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone. Tap Erase All Content and Settings. When iPhone restarts with all content and settings erased, you have the option to set up iPhone as new or restore it from a backup. See Turn on and set up iPhone. Note: If you’re asked to enter your passcode and you’ve forgotten it, see Reset the passcode. If you’re asked to enter your Apple ID password and you’ve forgotten it, see the Recover your Apple ID website. Use a computer to wipe all content and settings from iPhone You can use a Mac or Windows PC to erase all data and settings from your iPhone, restore iPhone to factory settings, and install the latest version of iOS. For example, if you can’t open Settings on iPhone, you can use this approach to restore iPhone to factory settings. Before iPhone is erased, you have the option to back it up. If you make a backup, you can use the backup to restore your data and settings on your iPhone or on a new device. See Restore iPhone from a computer backup. Connect iPhone and your computer with a cable. Do one of the following: On a Mac: In the Finder sidebar, select your iPhone, click General at the top of the window, then click Restore iPhone. To use the Finder to restore iPhone to factory settings, macOS 10.15 or later is required. With earlier versions of macOS, use iTunes to restore iPhone. On a Windows PC: Install or update to the latest version of iTunes on your PC (see the Apple Support article Update to the latest version of iTunes). Open iTunes, click the iPhone button near the top left of the iTunes window, click Summary, then click Restore iPhone. Follow the onscreen instructions. How do I change or fix my Apple ID login on an iOS device?
If you need to update or change the Apple ID associated with your iOS device (iPhone or iPad), follow these steps: 1. Open Settings 2. Tap Your Name at the top 3. Scroll to the bottom, tap Sign Out 4. It will ask to keep a copy of your data. Just tap Sign Out again. 5. It will ask again. Tap Sign Out another time. 6. You will be taken back to Settings. Tap Sign in to your iPhone. 7. Enter your email address and tap Next. 8. Tap Continue. 9. You will be taken to the normal EWU login. Proceed. 10. If you are enrolled in two-factor authentication, you will get the Duo prompt. This will still work on the iPhone without being signed into an AppleID or, alternatively, select another option to authenticate. 11. Success! You will be logged into your iPhone and will be returned to the settings screen.
