How do I export or migrate data from my EWU Google account?
Google offers a comprehensive service for exporting all data and documents from your account. This service will enable you to: Back up all of your Google account's data Back up your individual Google Drive files, and more. (not shared, departmental drives) Back up your Google Chrome favorites and bookmark bars Once you've selected what data you wish to back up, you're then able to download them all into one file. To get started, browse to https://takeout.google.com. You will need to authenticate using EWU Username and SSO password. How do I export or migrate data from OneDrive?
You have two options to export or download your personal files from your Office 365 OneDrive account? Option 1: Web Interface Log into the OneDrive web interface by browsing to :https://inside.ewu.edu/ewu-extra/office365login.php?app=onedrive Download any files and folders you want to keep. Option 2: OneDrive Client Install the OneDrive Client for Windows or Mac: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/download After installing OneDrive, login using EWU Username and SSO password. Choose to sync all or some of your drive. After all of your files and folders have synched, copy or move them to a new folder on your computer. On your desktop is fine. Make sure the new folder is not in your EWU OneDrive or EWU Google Drive! Uninstall the OneDrive client. How do I export or transfer my EWU email?
Backup all email to a PST Outlook automatically creates a Personal Storage Table or PST file for your mailbox. You can then choose selective folder items to move to a new PST file. You must have Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer. Your EWU account needs to be configured in Outlook. If it's not currently configured/ just follow these instructions in our knowledge base/ Go to File...Open and Export. Select Import/Export. This will open the Import and Export Wizard. Select Export to a file. Click Next. Choose Outlook Data File and click Next. Select the folders you want to export or select your account at the top to include everything. Click Next. Choose a destination folder and file name. Click Finish and your email will be exported. Most email systems, including Gmail, have the ability to import PST files.
